Prior
to launching Meeting Spots, Joice was the Comptroller and Conference
Manager for the statewide Florida Cable Telecommunications Association
for nine years, While there, she managed all aspects of more than
20 meetings a year, ranging from board meetings to national conferences
and trade shows with over 700 attendees, working with national speakers,
presenters and VIPs.
Her extensive meeting planning experience also includes working with
state government agencies, federal government agencies, and corporations.
She also created the Meeting Spots annual themed hospitality trade
show, which is in its 12th successful season. She has been honored
by Convention South Magazine as one of their Meeting Professionals
to Watch on four separate years. This exceptional distinction is bestowed
by members of the hospitality industry to meeting planners who have
displayed outstanding professionalism, creativity and dedication to
the meetings and convention industry. Joice
became a Certified Meeting Professional in 1993, and has worked
with corporate, association, and government meeting clients. Meeting
Spots has served as the local hotel representative for the north
Florida market. Joice also serves as the treasurer for Big Bend
Crime Stoppers, Inc.
